'Write a Bestseller' is essentially a story about a writer who has become disillusioned at the state of modern literature. From soft-core pornography novels to teen fiction series, he feels that readers have become more interested in soft stories. This has led to a small number of writers monopolising the book market, while other authors struggle to get published.

When his hand is forced by a situation that requires him to generate some income, he faces the decision of whether to maintain his integrity and finish a pre-existing project or take what he sees as the 'easy' route and pander to the masses.
